McCain! because Obama says that anyone making over 250,000 will get higher taxes.He wants to spread the wealth which just means that the people who worked hard to get an education and earn a good living will get taxed higher.

mccain. obama will only ''lower'' taxes for ppl earning 200k or less a year. also, dems are notorious for raising taxes.

Considering that ''experts'' r predicting a majority of Democrats in both the House & Senate, it looks like whatever the Democratic plan will be will have the most influence. This is independent of who is elected President.

From the campaign speeches, Obama wants to tax u more. Whether he can do it depends on his relationship with House & Senate Democrats. McCain wants to tax u less; it is very unlikely he can pass that through congress.

Congress makes the tax laws. They can be influenced, but not dictated to.

Obama will cost everyone more, especially you. Businesses r evil. Obama will force them to ''share the wealth'' that they earn, since, somehow, they must have trampled over some poor person to earn the money. Large businesses will then be forced to move to other countries where they r taxed less. Small businesses will be forced to raise their prices, so we all will pay more for everything so that some people can get a check from the government, & we grow ever more dependent on government & ever less free.

Obama did mention that the taxes will be reduced for people earnings less than 250,000. Since you earn more your taxes may increase.
Most of the people on this website earn less than 250,000.
Rather than looking at how much you earn, the key factor will be what is your taxable income.
